On 26^th October the Czech Agapornis Club was found. We reside in Brno city, the second largest city in the Czech Republic. We are very proud of the fact, that in Brno lived and worked Johann Gregor Mendel, who is thought a founder of genetics. From his genetics researches we even draw on breed of colour mutations of agapornises.

Our club was found in the occasion of the miserable situation of the agapornis breed in the Czech Republic. It leads to a degradation of breed, because of ignorance in basic knowledges of genetics.

Our main objective is improvement of the Agapornis breed according to international standards and changing experiences among breeders in the Czech Republic and among also foreign clubs and breeders.

Our club joined four new breeders: Ondřej Nový, Kateřina Vránová, Josef Čejka and Juraj Hargaš. Due to this occasion the section Members list was actualized.
